Fuji Xerox Printers Launches Two Versatile And Affordable Office Network Laser Printers

Hong Kong, February 2004 — Fuji Xerox Printers Hong Kong has launched the two new office network laser printers – DocuPrint 240A and DocuPrint 340A series with the new performance features including innovative paper handling, toner save mode and extremely high capacity printing.
The DocuPrint 240A comes with true 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution and full engine speeds at 24 page-per-minute (ppm). The uninterrupted printing with its ability to feed up to 1800 sheets of paper, and high capacity printing with a monthly duty cycle of up to 75,000 pages, enabling the end users to keep up with consistent and reliable prints in less time while most of the laser printers in the market in general provide only 850 sheets of paper and monthly duty cycle only up to 50,000 pages.

The DocuPrint 340A with a rated engine speed of 34 ppm, has a monthly duty cycle of up to 150,000 pages that extends the life span and productivity of the printer.
Both printers come with various useful functions and optional duplex printing function. The Duplex Print Module allows booklet printing by automatically arranging pages in sequence. Another useful feature for productivity is electronic sorting which enables the printer to do sorting as they print. Electronic sorting allows data to be read into memory so that copies can be read directly, printed and collated speedily. Innovative paper handling is another distinctive feature. It supports various paper sizes and thickness so that users can load non-standard media such as colour stock up to 216gsm, which is 32% thicker than the competitors on the market, transparencies and long-size paper (900mm maximum).
In addition to the above useful features, both printers come with 10/100BaseT network support as standard. Unlike other brands in the market, users need to pay extra for the network connection. Also, the Toner Save Mode is designed for all-round affordability and economic uses with a consumption reduction of up to maximum 30%. Furthermore, the sleep mode and warm-up time allow energy saving and reduce time-cost simultaneously. All of them can give additional benefits to user on top of the low cost of equipment and consumables.
DocuPrint 240A and DocuPrint 340A are available at affordable price from HK$5,588 and HK$8,688 respectively. Both printers provide one-year on-site warranty and are available immediately through Fuji Xerox Printers authorized dealers and resellers.
